ZEETRACE Pipe Heaters

ZEETRACE clamp-on pipe heaters are designed to convey steam or hot oil to process piping. One side of the heater is formed to a specific radius to provide close contact when clamped to the process pipe. The ends of the heater are capped and equipped with half couplings for the inlet and outlet of the heating medium. ZEETRACE clamp-on heaters can be fabricated in lengths from 6 inches to 20 feet.

The ZEETRACE clamp-on heater system is carbon steel. Standard inlet and outlet connections are 3/4" 3000# forged steel FNPT half couplings. Other connections are available including socket weld and flanged. All units are pressure tested prior to shipment.

ZEETRACE Premium pipe heaters come fully shop fabricated to customer specification with ZEEMAX strip form heat transfer compound pre-applied. Remove the cover and peel ply- it's ready to install.

Surface Contact Area: 24 square inches per foot.

Weight: 2.25 pounds per foot.

Maximum working pressure: 300 psig.

Maximum working temperature: 600°F.

Pressure test: 1.5 times maximum working pressure.

ZEETRACE Options

Shop fabrication: Customer-specified finished lengths can be produced in our shops.

Media inlet/outlets: Choose standard 3/4" FNPT or specify 1/2" FNPT half coupling

connections. Specials, such as flanges or socket weld connections are available.

Heaters for fittings: Mitered clamp-on heaters for fittings are available. Full clamshell jackets for other components can be supplied.

ZEETRACE Premium: Finished lengths with ZEEMAX strip form heat transfer compound applied. Remove protective cover, strip the peel ply and install on your piping.
