Steam Tracing Accessories

Over the years, we've seen some great products for steam tracing. Here's a few that we especially like and we believe you will, too. If you need more information about any of these items, let us know.

The ULTRA SENSE ambient temperature sensing valve from Therm-Omega-Tech turns the tracing steam supply on and off at a specific air temperature. It is great for services like caustic soda tracing where heat may not be needed constantly.

The ULTRA SENSE valve is self powered and pre-set to your specified temperature. They are available in sizes ½" and ¾" NPT.

This is another version Therm-Omega-Tech's ULTRA SENSE valve. Instead of sensing air temperature, this can be strapped to the process pipe to sense pipe wall temperature. It can also be inserted into a ¾" NPT thermowell.

It too, is available in sizes ½" and ¾" NPT. Maximum Cv available is 2.0.

TLV Corporation's model A3N steam trap is ideal for steam tracing applications and is an excellent bargain.

The A3N is a Thermodyne disc trap. It comes with a steam jacketed bonnet which prevents wild cycling during rain showers or low air temperatures. It also has an air vent which permits fast start up of a tracer system. The built in strainer helps prevent dirt-related failures.
