Tape Form Compounds |
|
Make sure that the surfaces are reasonably clean and clear of any debris. |
|
Apply the tape form compound to the pipe surface. Press firmly--use high temp tape or tie wires to hold if needed. |
|
Butt the next strip to the previous one making sure no gaps are present. Knead the strip form compound into a putty and fill any irregular surfaces on valves, pumps, etc. |
|
Firmly press the tracer tubing into the tape form compound. Use tie wires to hold the tubing in place. Leak test and insulate. The system is ready for use. |

IMPORTANT: All area-required safety procedures must be followed. Personal protective gear is a must. At minimum, we recommend that safety glasses, long sleeves and gloves be worn while working these products. Request MSDS here. |
