Trowel Applied Compounds |
|
Make sure that the surfaces are reasonably clean and clear of any debris. |
|
Using a clean trowel, apply the compound in a fillet between the tracer tubing and process pipe. Fill all gaps between the tracer and the surface of process components such as valves and pumps. |

Clean up tools with plant approved safety solvent. |
|
For steam jackets or plate coils, apply the compound to the inner surfaces and attach to the component. Leak test and insulate the system. It's now ready for use. |

IMPORTANT: All area-required safety procedures must be followed. Personal protective gear is a must. At minimum, we recommend that safety glasses, long sleeves and gloves be worn while working these products. Request MSDS here. |
