ZEEMAX tape form compounds are the easiest to use for pipe tracing. They go on quickly, consistently and with very little waste resulting in a highly effective tracing system. They are usable in services up to 400°F. ST400G is grooved to allow close contact of the tracer tube with the strip. ST400G is ideal for general process tracing and sensitive instrumentation tracing. It is a perfect choice for electric heat tracing cable*. ST400G's heat transfer characteristics allow electric tracing cable to operate with a lower sheath temperature. In other words, more of the cable's heat is transferred to the process resulting in sheath temperatures up to 50°F lower than without ZEEMAX ST400G. Lower sheath temperature means longer cable life. ZEEMAX tape form compounds are ideal for highly irregular surfaces such as pump casings and valve bodies. Tape form compounds can be rolled and pressed into the cavities and crevices with little waste and no mess. The resulting level surface is a perfect bed for the tracer tubing or cable. ZEEMAX tape form compounds are non-hardening and can be removed with a paint scraper should a piping component need to be replaced or repaired. *Heat transfer compounds are excellent electrical conductors. Be sure all electrical components are properly insulated. |
